Pets edition

Hotel Lobby AI with your pets

Some of the most-shared versions of this trend are not people at all. A cat staring deadpan into the camera while a dog loses its mind beside it gets more engagement than most human pairs — and it takes the same two photos to make.

How it works for animals

The generator swaps the two performers in the booth for whatever is in your two photos. Nothing in the pipeline assumes a human face, so a close-up of a dog or cat works the same way a portrait does. Upload one animal per slot, generate, download.

Try it with your pet

Four pairings that work

Cat + dog

The classic contrast pairing — a calm cat on the left, an overexcited dog on the right.

Two cats

Works best with two very different expressions: one staring into the lens, one looking away.

Pet + owner

One photo of you, one of your pet. The size difference is what makes it funny.

Same pet twice

Two photos of the same animal, different angles — it reads as twins performing together.

Getting a good result

Use a photo where the face is visible

A full-body shot of a cat curled up on a sofa will not read well — the model needs eyes and a muzzle to place the face. Crop closer before uploading.

Avoid heavy motion blur

Pets move, so most phone photos of them are slightly blurred. Pick the sharpest frame you have; a still screenshot from a video often beats a rushed photo.

Front-facing beats profile

A photo taken straight on gives the model a clean face to work with. Profiles and extreme angles still render, but the result looks flatter.

One pet per slot

Two animals in a single photo confuse the swap. Crop one animal per image and upload them separately.

Questions

Can I really put my pet in the Hotel Lobby video?

Yes. Upload a photo of your cat, dog or any other animal into one of the two image slots, and it appears in the booth in place of that performer.

Does it work with two different animals?

Yes — one animal per slot. A cat on the left and a dog on the right is the most popular combination.

What kind of pet photo works best?

A sharp, front-facing photo where the face fills a reasonable part of the frame. Avoid motion blur, heavy shadows, and photos with two animals in them.

Is the output the same format as the human version?

Yes. Eight seconds, vertical 9:16, MP4 — ready for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

Do I need a prompt describing the animal?

No. The template already knows what it is doing; the photo carries the animal. A prompt is only useful if you want to change the outfit or the mood.

Your cat deserves a stage

Two photos, about three minutes, one 8-second vertical clip.
